Pelia

Meaning “marvel of God,” Pelia is one of many ways to let your little one know just how wonderful they are. While this girl’s name is mainly Hebrew in origin, it’s a name that’s pretty prominent in Greek mythology, too. As legend has it, Pelia was the wife of the mythical figure Melus. Distraught by Melus' sudden death, Pelia perished but was later resurrected as a dove by the Greek goddess Aphrodite.
