Prue

Prue is a feminine name and a shortened form of Prudence. Both Prue and Prudence derive from the Latin word prudens, meaning “wise,” “skilled,” “foresight,” or “prudent.” As one of the four cardinal virtues in Christian theology, prudence is described as the wisdom to live virtuously and make good judgments.
