Raquelle

Raquelle, also spelled Raquel, is the Spanish form of the Hebrew girl’s name Rachel, meaning “ewe.” Rachel plays a prominent role in the Hebrew Bible as the beautiful yet tragic wife of Jacob. Just as Rachel has been a popular name in the US for decades, Raquel and Raquelle are much-loved in Spanish-speaking countries, particularly Spain and Portugal. A famous bearer is Raquel Welch, the half-Bolivian actress.
