Rioghnach, also spelled Ríoghnach, is a girl’s name of Irish origin meaning “queenly.” It derives from rígan, the Old Irish word for “queen.” An apt name for your little royal! According to some sources, Ríoghnach was a wife of Niall of the Nine Hostages, a semi-legendary Irish king.
