Rosalyn

A rose by any other name not only smells as sweet but sounds as pretty. Rosalyn, a girl’s name of Germanic origins—and a British elaboration of the name Rose—proves just that. Appropriately enough, Rosalyn means "beautiful rose" after the Latin rosa linda, popularized by the name's introduction to England by the Normans.
