Blake Lively Says Super Bowl Was Her First Time Out Without Her Kids

Blake Lively might not be your average mom, but that doesn’t make her Mom musings any less relatable.

The beloved Gossip Girl actress recently shared the story of that precious, and sometimes anxiety-inducing, first night out without the kids. Her night just happened to be spent in a VIP box watching the Super Bowl with her bestie Taylor Swift.

“Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes. I took pictures upside down and had no clue. I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ‘07,” she captioned in an Instagram post recapping the evening. “I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing. Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like.”

Moms hopped in the comments to express their support for Lively’s Mom’s Night Out (MNO). “Radiant Mama bear!! Love all this for you,” wrote one user. “GOOD for you 👏 feels good to let your hair down sometimes,” chimed in momfluencer Amanda Ivanelli. “Every mom should have the opportunity to do that with their best friends,” added another commenter.

Lively reportedly welcomed her fourth child in early 2023. The Age of Adaline actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have been tight-lipped about their new addition but are now the proud parents of four, including 9-year-old daughter James, 7-year-old daughter Inez and 4-year-old daughter Betty.
