Chrissy Teigen Syringing Up Spilled Breast Milk Is Every Nursing Mom

Anyone who’s ever pumped knows that horrible feeling when you spill a container of breast milk. Seeing all that time, effort and liquid gold go to waste can break a mom’s breast pumping heart. So when model/author/TV host/new mom Chrissy Teigen spilled her milk on her table, she hilariously resorted to scoops and syringes in a last-ditch effort to save it.

Of course, being the social media queen that she is, Teigen posted two videos of her attempts on Twitter, proving once again that despite her celebrity status, she’s still just a mom dealing with the same misadventures as everybody else.

“Spilled my breast milk and this is how important it is in this house,” you can hear her saying over the video with a laugh. She doubled up on the message with her all-caps Twitter comment, “EVERY DROP COUNTS IN THIS HOUSE.”

“I am so jealous of people with plentiful boobies,” she posted on a second video of the clean-up, explaining why she’s desperate to save every bit of that pumped milk for her 2-month-old son, Miles.

When one of her followers sympathized with her lack of supply, saying she “unapologetically formula fed,” Teigen was all about it. “I use plenty of formula, also unapologetically!” she replied. “We all do the best we can!”

Yes we do—even when it means suctioning up milk from the kitchen table, drop by drop.
