Rihanna Says She Wants More Kids: ‘as Many as God Wants Me to Have’
Rihanna is sharing a rare glimpse into her dreams of growing her family.
The music mogul and beauty icon recently sat down with Interview magazine to talk about her personal and professional life. When the mom of two was asked whether she planned on adding more members to her family, she responded that she would have “As many as God wants me to have.” “I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two,” she added. “I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
Rihanna’s dreams of expanding her family seamlessly blend into her partnership with A$AP Rocky. The Fenty Beauty founder said that God led her in her decision to let go and start a family with the L$D rapper. “In previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough,” she noted. “So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”
The two are already parents to 6-month-old Riot and 1-year-old RZA. Rihanna noted that Riot is growing quickly and already is wearing all of RZA’s 1-year-old hand-me-downs. “I have racks, I have bags. They’re all sized and organized, and then whatever gets too small for RZA, I put into bins so that Riot can have them next,” she said, adding that, “Everybody thinks Rocky dresses them because I dress them in Rocky outfits.”
Riot isn’t the only one growing up fast. The Diamonds singer shared that RZA has already said his first word. “I used to try to get his attention all the time, and I would say, “Hey, hey, hey.” And one day he said it back to me in the same melody and I kept singing it and he kept following it over and over again,” she said.
