Arles

Arles is a boy’s name, although you might have thought of the coastal city in the South of France first. It's to no one’s surprise, because this place has a lot of history and was listed as one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as a result. Many artists have lived and worked here, including Pablo Picasso, Paul Gauguin, and Vincent Van Gogh. Now if one were to look up Arles in the Gaelic language, it would mean “pledge” or “oath.” Whether or not you have roots in this region, this moniker is a symbolic promise to baby to support them in all their endeavors, artistic and otherwise!
