Delila

Delila is a girl’s name of Hebrew origin. A variant of Delilah, it means “languishing,” “weak,” and “delicate.” In the Bible, Delilah was a seductive woman who tricked Samson into revealing his hidden strengths before cutting his hair while he slept. In more recent times, Delila appears in a number of recorded songs, including Delilah by Tom Jones and Hey There Delilah by Plain White T’s.
