Why do two fish represent the Pisces sign?
Like all other signs, Pisces is tied to a constellation identified way back in ancient Greece. However, there are many popular versions of the tale of the two fish, making it difficult to know for certain which is the origin story. Much like Capricorn, one of the tales details a great escape from the monstrous Typhon; Aphrodite and Eros were desperate to escape him and jumped into the river.
