Amy Schumer is undoubtedly the Queen of Pregnancy. Over the course of the last couple of months, she has kept things so refreshingly real and has been super-relatable for other moms-to-be. Her latest Instagram post further proves the point.
The comedian gave a hilarious tutorial on how to put socks on when you’re pregnant, because it’s easy, right?
“If you’re pregnant, like I am, and you want to put your socks on, it’s easy. First, the left foot,” she says as she gets the first half of the job done relatively fast. “Okay—a little discomfort but not really a problem.”
And just when Schumer thought she was getting off easy, the right foot comes back with a vengeance. “And then the right foot. You just...it’s easy,” she says in a cheery demeanor while attempting but failing to lift her right leg up. “You put your toe in...and then you try it from behind. And then you just kind of...slowly will the sock up your foot!”
“And that‘s pregnant,” she comments after contorting her foot and arm to get the sock to stay on her foot. And pregnant women everywhere feel so heard. Fear not, moms, in due time your baby will finally be here and your 10-minute sock routine will be but a faint memory from a distant time.
Earlier this month the comedian had us all howling when she shared her hilarious maternity photos. Although the expectant mom has been able to incorporate humor into every situation, her journey has been anything but easy. Schumer has been suffering from hyper gravidarum during her entire pregnancy, and working hard to stay positive through it all.
