Mom Disgusted After Finding This Dangerous Item on Public Changing Table
Ask parents about their experience changing their baby’s diaper in a public restroom, and they’ll likely have some gruesome war stories to share. Yet, nothing compares to the panic one mom faced when she found a used needle on a changing table.
Emma Kennedy shares her horror story on Facebook, warning other parents to tread carefully.
“I am beyond disgusted and absolutely filled with anger that someone would stoop so low as to leave a used needle in a baby changing toilet on the baby changing table,” the mom says.
While some may find the status update shocking, others may not be as surprised. Earlier this year, a fellow mom also took to Facebook, revealing an alarming way changing tables can be dangerous for babies. The post, which has now been shared more than 170,000 times, explains that the brown marks on changing tables are usually from “addicts [who] use these as tables while they shoot up.”
Although Kennedy may have missed this horrifying post, she’s now encouraging parents to be “extra vigilant and check any baby facilities before using them.” As for her daughter, she thankfully made it out of the situation unharmed.
“Luckily, Harper hadn’t gone anywhere near it, as we were just using the toilet,” she explains.
In addition to this scary warning, make sure you remember these changing table safety tips the next time baby needs a diaper change.
