Ember Launches World’s First On-The-Go Self-Warming Baby Bottle
After a sleepless night juggling his crying baby daughter, heating a bowl of water and ensuring it had warmed her bottle to just the right temperature, Ember’s CEO, Clay Alexander, knew there had to be a better way.
Fast forward a few years, and Ember, renowned for its innovative self-warming mugs, has traded coffee for milk and ventured into the baby industry with the world’s first on-the-go self-warming baby bottle.
Collaborating with pediatricians, Ember has designed a state-of-the-art baby bottle system that prioritizes safety and ease of use. With triple redundancy protections and multipoint temperature sensing, the Ember Baby Bottle ensures milk is heated evenly and without any hot spots.
The process is straightforward: Place a six-ounce baby bottle on the Smart Warming Puck and press a button. In less than five minutes, the bottle’s content reaches the optimal temperature for formula or breast milk, perfectly mimicking the human body temperature.
The bottle warmer costs a pretty penny and retails for $400. But its portability does offer on-the-go caregivers peace of mind. Once the warming puck is fully charged, it can be unplugged and used for two full warming cycles. Plus, the Insulating Thermal Dome, which is included in the system, conveniently keeps milk cool for up to four hours or until its time to warm baby’s bottle.
Ember’s smart bottle goes the extra mile with smartphone connectivity, allowing caregivers to monitor feedings, set reminders and more. And when it’s time to clean up, the lightweight and ergonomic bottles feature a modular design for effortless cleaning, filling, and assembly.
