People have been finding ways to keep themselves entertained in quarantine, from various Instagram bingo boards to handstand challenges. Now, many moms are taking to social media to participate in the “candy challenge”—including Kylie Jenner and her 2-year-old daughter Stormi Webster.

The Candy challenge involves leaving the kids “unattended” with a bowl of chocolates. The parent makes an excuse to leave the room (like to go to the bathroom) and tells their kid they can have three chocolates if they just wait until mommy comes back. Not only did Stormi wait for her mom, but she also used affirmations to get herself through it. See the adorable video for yourself.

“You’re going to wait for mommy?” Kylie asked in the video. Stormi said yes, continuing to watch something on TV and Jenner walked away. As Stormi eyes the candy bowl, she’s tempted and lunges forward, saying, “Oh! M&Ms,” but then chooses to wait for her mom. She can be heard quietly saying, “Patience,” over and over again. She bursts with joy as her mom returns and quickly goes to the bowl of chocolate.

The video (like most of Stormi’s videos) quickly went viral on Instagram yesterday. “Stormi!!! You really are America’s sweetheart,” Los Angeles-based makeup artist Ariel commented. Chrissy Teigen also commented on the video, “Ok oh my god this is SO SWEET I gotta try with miles. I know Luna won’t but miles, it’s over.” (Now that’s a video we can’t wait to see!)

Daily affirmations can be a great way to teach kids skills (like patience) and how to maintain a positive outlook on life. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more, check out 35 of our favorite affirmations to help boost little ones’ confidence.
