From Demi Moore’s milestone win to Glen Powell’s family tradition and Angelina Jolie’s chic mother-daughter moment, here’s a look at the most stunning appearances of the night.
Everybody Wants Adam Brody and Leighton Meester
Nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Nobody Wants This, Adam Brody made the Emmys a date night with wife and former Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester. Last night Severance star Tramell Tillman became the first Black man to win Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He donned a white tux and brought his mom as his date before shouting her out in his acceptance speech. “My first acting coach was tough, y’all. But all great mothers are,” Tillman said, before adding, “Mama, you were there for me when no one else was and no one else would show up. Your loving kindness stays with me. And this is for you.” He closed by thanking the Academy and echoing his mother’s favorite phrase: “Whooo! Look at God!”
Owen Cooper Also Makes Emmy History
Tillman wasn’t the only one to make history at the 2025 Emmys. At just 15, Owen Cooper became the youngest winner of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Adolescence. Dressed in a classic tux, and accompanied by his parents Andy and Noreen, he thanked his parents and so many others for guiding him through his breakout year.
