Amid the dirty diapers, messy mealtimes and sleepless nights, it’s nice and often needed to take a night off to glam up and get out of the house. This year, Hollywood’s celebrity parents led the way with daring and dazzling looks at the 2024 Met Gala themed after J. G. Ballard’s short story, The Garden of Time. From a cool aqua floral bump look by Lea Michele to unique couple’s ensembles from Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe and Kieran Culkin and Jazz Charton, see our favorite show-stopping looks below.

Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade

Former professional basketball player Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union may be busy raising a blended family of five, but the two still get to enjoy a parent’s night out every once in a while. The Proudly founders showed out in custom Michael Kors. Described as her “favorite Met look ever” Union stunned in a green and silver mermaid-style look she said was inspired by her daughter Kaavia as Wade stepped out in a lapeless pastel purple suit.

Lea Michele

The Glee alum was absolutely glowing on the carpet in an aqua blue Rodarte gown with a tulle cape and floral accents. The Broadway star first announced she was expecting baby number two on Instagram on March 27.

Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe

The Fantastic Beasts star and his wife Hannah Bagshawe took the night off from Broadway and their jobs as mom and dad to daughter Iris, 7 and son Luke, 6, for an evening at the Met. The two looked flawless in a coordinating abstract black and white ensemble designed by Steve O. Smith.

Jeremy Strong and Emma Wall

Succession star Jeremy Strong wore an eye-catching, custom-made Loro Piana suit to the affair alongside his wife Emma Wall, who he shares three daughters with. The unique creation blended seamlessly with the theme featuring a slew of flowers that crept along the left lapel, along with a large flower in place of a bowtie.

Sienna Miller

Actress and new mom Sienna Miller stunned alongside a whole power girl group in a boho-chic white lace minidress from Chloé with ruffled sleeves and a sweeping train just a little more than five months after welcoming her second child into the world. The moment is full circle for the American Sniper star, who first made her bump debut on the cover of Vogue’s Winter 2024 issue.

Adwoa Aboah

British model and actress Adwoa Aboah debuted her bare bump on the green carpet wearing a red voluminous H&M skirt set with a red ruffled crop top revealing a rhinestoned bra. The baby will be the 31-year-old’s first child.

Kieran Culkin and Jazz Charton

Jeremy Strong wasn’t the only Succession cast member to attend the 2024 Met Gala. Kieran Culkin and his wife Jazz Charton brought some of the evening’s most colorful looks to the carpet with a paint-splattered suit and bright yellow dress. The two are parents to Kinsey Sioux, 4 and son Wilder Wolf, 2.

Keke Palmer

After welcoming her son Leo just three months before last year’s Met Gala, actress Keke Palmer stunned this year in a draped silver sequin Marc Jacobs gown. The look was elevated literally and figuratively by a high ponytail that added over a foot to the singer’s look.

Cardi B

The mother to Kulture and Wave, rapper Cardi B commanded attention on the red carpet in a stunning black tulle gown by Giambattista Valli styled with a large black headpiece and diamond emerald jewelry. Nine men were required to help the Money artist move and fan out her gown.

Serena Williams

After debuting her bump at last year’s Met Gala, Serena Williams served up more looks at this year’s event in a gold Balenciaga couture gown that took over 150 hours to craft from 25 meters of gold foil-laminated taffeta. The mom of two to Vogue that the Met Gala will “always hold a special place in my heart,” she says. “Embracing my pregnancy on the red carpet allowed me to feel empowered and radiant, while sharing the beauty of motherhood. I also just love to think that both my girls have been with me to the Met Gala!”

Kylie Jenner

Thriving as a mom of two, Kylie Jenner wore a custom design by Oscar de la Renta inspired by the garden statues mentioned in The Garden of Time. The chic design evoked vintage vibes with a cone-style bra, cinched waist and large trumpet skirt. Jenner just returned to New York after taking her oldest, Stormie, 5, to Paris Fashion Week.

Demi Moore

Demi Moore may have recently ascended to grandma status with her daughter Rumer Willis, welcoming her first child in April of last year, but her style is anything but dated. According to People, Moore’s jaw-dropping floral gown by Harris Reed was made from wallpaper and took over 11,000 hours to embroider.

Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling may have her hands full with daughter Katherine, 6, and son Spencer, 3, but her Met Gala look required even more hands on deck. Like Cardi B, Kaling had multiple handlers to help her navigate the green carpet in a voluminous, nude-colored strapless gown by Gaurav Gupta featuring a long sculptural train.

Gigi Hadid

The mother to now 3-year-old Khai, model Gigi Hadid went boldly in the direction of this year’s theme donning a white off-the-shoulder Thom Browne gown featuring plenty of rose detailing.
