Rumer Willis Has Welcomed Her First Baby

Actress Rumer Willis has welcomed her first child!

The oldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, Willis and her partner Derek Richard Thomas, announced the arrival of their new addition in an Instagram post April 25. “Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic,” Willis captioned the photo of her sleeping baby. “Born at home on Tuesday, April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of.”

Friends and family members expressed their excitement at Louetta’s arrival in the comments. “Pure love for this little birdie,” new grandma Moore wrote. “Yes mama …. Magical!” commented Hilary Duff, while Alyssa Milano added, “Ummmm. Is that the cutest baby ever?!”

The proud new parents initially shared they were expecting in a joint Instagram post on December 20. In the carousel of photos, Willis showed off her baby bump with an excited Thomas in the background. Willis simply used the sprout emoji to caption the post.

Willis’ sister Scout LaRue Willis commented on the announcement, “I feel so good, What a joyful hard launch party.” Fellow actress Juliette Lewis also wrote, “Well OK this explains why you were glowing every time I saw you. Congrats!”

Moore also posted a photo from Willis’ prenatal check-up and ultrasound. “Saying hello to the little nibblet!! Overjoyed for you, my sweet Rumer. It’s an honor to witness your journey into motherhood, and can’t wait to welcome this baby into the world,” the Ghost actress shared.

“So grateful for my incredible lineage of women in my family. I love you all so much. This baby is so lucky to have you guys,” Willis added in the comments.

The What Lies Ahead actress and her musician/producer boyfriend were rumored to have started dating in early 2022. The duo confirmed their romance on November 15 with a photo of the two of them kissing in the middle of a snowy forest scene.
