The Sandlot’s Patrick Renna and Wife Jasmin Welcome Baby No. 3

Your favorite Sandlot star is all grown up and a proud dad of three!

Patrick Renna and his wife, Jasmin, recently announced the arrival of their first daughter on Instagram. “Lily June Renna,” the actor affectionately known as the ‘Big Hambino’ captioned a photo of their newborn settling into life at home. The couple, who are already parents to Liam, 4, and Flynn, 7, welcomed Lily on July 2 at 2:49 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz.

Renna, who’s touted his wife strength throughout her pregnancy, wrote, “After three, I’m even more in awe of my wife and all moms out there.” He added that mom, baby and big brothers are all doing well before joking, “Dad is… how much time you got?”

The Rennas first shared the exciting news of their third child on the way on February 18. “Finding out we’re having a baby girl was the best surprise, and my wife, our two boys, and I couldn’t be more excited to meet her," Renna told People. “We were convinced we were having our third boy because I mistakenly looked at our second son’s test results from 2020. Whoops!” they admitted. “So, for two weeks, we were all set on welcoming another little guy—until the doctor called and told us the real news.”

Renna, who credits Jasmin for being an “amazing partner and wife” and an “incredible mother,” humbly rates himself as a “C-plus, B-minus dad” with “some learning to do.” Not one to take himself or parenting too seriously, the now dad of three opened up in an exclusive interview with The Bump about everything from the one word new dads should ban from their vocabulary to working through dad guilt.
