Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott Introduces His Newborn Daughter

Dak Prescott is officially a father!

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, shared their daughter’s name and first photos on March 18. “MJ Rose, Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer and we are so fortunate that you are ours,” the couple shared in a joint post on Instagram. “Welcome into this world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected! We are so IN LOVE with you. Love, Mom & Dad.”

In the collection of photos, the first-time parents shared a picture of their new family of three, pictures of Prescott scrubbed up in the labor and delivery room and minimalistic images of baby MJ in a white sweater and leggings.

“I feel different,” Prescott said when asked about his new life as father at a Children’s Cancer Fund event in Dallas. “When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities. And everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but you want that for somebody else even more,” he added, “Yeah, it’s special.”

Ramos intially shared the exciting news that she and Prescott were expecting on November 26. “A little bit of Heaven sent down to Earth. Our immeasurable blessing,” Ramos captioned elegant black and white photos of her bump. “I cannot wait to raise a strong, confident, beautiful baby girl with you @_4dak,” she added, tagging the NFL star.

Prescott was quick to respond in the comments with excitement and joy over his soon-to-be #girldad status. “How thankful I am to do this with you can’t be explained! God makes no mistakes and nothing is coincidental and for that, I thank Him daily,” the 30-year-old quarterback wrote. “I love you, and y’all can always count on me. Let’s do this Mama.”

The pro athlete teased that “his relationship status was pending” in August before later on in early November, confirming he was dating Ramos. “Entering a new decade with so much gratitude. I truly have everything I could wish for and have a feeling this next chapter will be the best one yet,” she wrote in the caption, seemingly referring to her and Prescott’s relationship and parenthood journey.
