Alexandra Madison and Jon Bouffard Welcome Baby Girl
After sharing plenty of laughs and heartbreak along the way, Alexandra Madison and Jon Bouffard have officially welcomed their rainbow baby!
The popular TikTok and Instagram creators announced the happy news on September 11. “Our hardest chapter brought us the sweetest beginning. Welcome home, Lucy Grey,” the couple captioned a carousel of intimate maternity photos featuring mom, dad and their baby girl in the hospital.
For their daughter’s name, the couple chose Lucy, a timeless pick with a sweet meaning. In Latin, Lucy translates to “light” or “light bringer”—a fitting tribute for the couple’s biggest joy after a difficult 2024 marked by the loss of their son, Leo Grey, at 26 weeks. To honor him, Madison and Bouffard gave Lucy the same middle name as her older brother.
Throughout the past year, Madison and Bouffard have comforted and inspired parents-to-be worldwide as they shared the emotional rollercoaster of expecting after loss. In candid videos, they opened up about everything from answering the question “Is this your first child?” to navigating the mix of joy and nervousness during their pregnancy announcement.
When it came time to prepare for Lucy’s arrival, the Give It to Me Straight podcasters admitted they delayed packing their hospital bag and setting up the nursery because of nerves. “I think this might just have to do with the mentality after loss. I’m like, all of this stuff doesn’t matter,” Madison told People in an interview two weeks before Lucy’s birth. “As long as she just arrives safely and we both are alive, that’s the end goal, and everything else we will just figure out as we go.”
Now that Lucy has made her big entrance, Madison is ready to enjoy her favorite time of year with her new favorite person. “I’m a big fall person. I just love the season itself,” she said. “I feel like it’s going to be perfect for walking her out in the stroller — taking our dog. So I will just be soaking up all of those moments…I think we’re ready to just slow down, embrace the fall season, and take it all in as new parents.”
