Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger Welcome Baby No. 4
Giannis Antetokounmpo has his hands full—and not just on the court. The Milwaukee Bucks power forward and longtime partner Mariah Riddlesprigger just welcomed their fourth child in five years!
The Milwaukee Bucks power forward and his wife shared the joyful news on Instagram with a sweet photo of their swaddled newborn daughter, captioned simply: “Aria Capri.” A name with Italian origins, Aria means “air” and is also a musical term for a solo melody in opera. It carries additional meanings across cultures—including “lioness” in Hebrew and Greek (a fitting nod to Dad’s heritage) and “noble” in Persian.
Baby Aria joins big siblings Liam (5), Maverick (3), and Eva (1), officially rounding out the family as a party of six. And while their hands are full, Giannis has often credited his growing crew for keeping him grounded—on and off the court. From little Maverick joining him in post-injury rehab to the whole family showing up courtside, the Antetokounmpos have made it clear: basketball is a family affair.
Since becoming a mom, Riddlesprigger has also grown into a fierce advocate for families in need. “When I became a mom, I quickly realized just how expensive raising a child can be,” she shared in a post about her work with Milwaukee Diaper Mission, which began shortly after Maverick’s birth. “It’s heartbreaking to know that 1 in 2 families in Milwaukee struggle to afford diapers and wipes… No parent should ever have to choose between diapers and other essentials like food.”
That partnership has since expanded into The BIG Give Back, a community-driven initiative to ease diaper need for local families. “This mission is close to our hearts because we’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference community support can make for families,” she explained. “We feel incredibly fortunate to be in a position to give back, and we’re committed to helping ensure that all parents have access to the resources they need to care for their children.”
