The Rock Encourages Fellow Girl Dads to Say Yes to The 'Makeovers'

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has seen many evolutions throughout his life, from professional wrestler to actor and entrepreneur. But there’s perhaps nothing the 6-foot-5-inch, 260-pound titan is better built for than being a girl dad.

“I’ve learned over time that you look back on life’s decisions and say, ‘That was a good idea, that was a great idea or…what the %#$@ was I thinking??’ And it’s proving to be a good thing that I have a very large head with A LOT of ‘canvas’ for these little chickens’ enjoyment and artistic makeover endeavors,” Johnson joked in his latest post offering a peek into his life as a dad.

In the video, Jasmine, 9, and Tiana, 6, add glitter, temporary gold tattoos, blush, lip gloss and more to their dad as he sits patiently. As they go back in with more eye shadow, the 53-year-old bodybuilder can’t help but laugh and share a piece of advice for dads along with a challenge to his daughters: “Our little ones are only little once, so bring it on, ladies—Daddy is fearless.”

The posts’ comments quickly filled with those appluading Johnson for his devotion and for showing that big guys can be big softies too. “Gotta love when the strongest man on Earth becomes the softest dad in the room That’s real power,” one person wrote. “Been there. It’s worth it. Every time,” a dad added. “Best Dad move right there. They grow up fast,” another wrote.

What Starts Off As “Daddy It’ll Just Be A Manicure”

Covered in pink lipstick, with a drawn-on mustache, unibrow and “eyeliner,” Jasmine and Tiana tell their dad that he’s “a girl now” and frantically yell that he needs a BEAUTY BLENDER. Detailing his new makeover in the caption, he simply notes, “Hey, there will be a time down the road when this stuff won’t matter to them anymore, so sign me up- daddy’s in.”

Tutu Time

Does anything quite say pretty princess quite like a pink tutu? Jasmine just couldn’t wait to spread the love to her dad and see him in the tutu too, but there may have been some minor fit issues, so a tutu crown, plus a tiara, will just have to do.

Workout Buddies

Long hours and a busy schedule can’t keep The Rock from his family. “Flew all night long just to walk thru the door in time for breakfast and “daddy curls” at 7am,” he joked in the caption of a video showing him doing bicep curls with his youngest, Tiana. “Been working all night zombie hours for weeks with little sleep, but man, I walk thru that door, and these little tornados instantly give me fuel. That’s the power (and mana) of our babies.”

Tea for Two

There’s always time for tea! Shortly after Tiana turned 4, The Rock shared a heartwarming video of him seated at a tiny tea table with his daughter while he reflected on the importance of enjoying fleeting moments with your child. “Man, these daddy/daughter/bunny tea parties have a special way of kinda putting life into real perspective. My “why” becomes even more clear. She just turned 4 and probably won’t remember this, but I sure will,” he wrote.

“Daddy Close Your Eyes”

Lipstick wasn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last thing The Rock has smeared on his face by his daughters. In a special edition of “his little tornado’s favorite game, ‘Daddy Close Your Eyes,’” the Fast and Furious star ends up with a face full of peanut butter as Jasmine triumphantly squeals in the background. In another iteration of ‘Daddy Close Your Eyes,’ The Rock takes a groin shot before joking, “I’ll pay the price every time to get belly laughs and little giggles like this.”
