Watch: Toddler Spills Red Wine All Over Himself in Hilarious #MomFail

On some days, moms seem to flawlessly have it all together. On other days, however, they have no choice but to raise the white flag. Or, in the case of one UK mom, raise a red flag.

Giselle Green recently shared a hilarious video of her toddler, Sammy, adorably waddling his way to her. When he finally reaches his mom, Sammy has a sweet grin plastered across his face. But the little boy’s attention is quickly captured by his mom’s shiny glass of red wine. And you can guess how this story ends.

Reaching for the glass before Green has a chance to swipe it away, the baby not only knocks over the entire glass of red, but he manages to spill it all over himself.

As he adorably blinks away his mom’s night cap from his eyes, it’s too funny for Green not to laugh. On the bright side, at least the carpet made it out alive.

“Don’t worry, Sam’s face shielded my carpet,” the mom jokes.

In the short amount of time the video has gone up, it has already gathered more than 23,000 retweets and 77,000 likes. And, in no surprise at all, the nearly 500 comments come from moms who are getting a kick out of this funny #MomFail moment.

“Waiting for the day when my child does this,” a mama says.

Another pokes fun, saying “can’t stop laughing at this. His blonde hair really shows up that red wine!”

“This is the best thing I’ve seen all day. Truly glorious,” one writes.

Those concerned with Sammy’s wellbeing after the wine glass tumble, fear not. Green sent out a later disclaimer, saying, “don’t worry. No Sammy was hurt in the making of this video.”

Mothers can’t be perfect all the time, and sometimes the only thing you can do is laugh. Another mom learned this lesson when the outfit she picked out for her son’s school picture day ended in an epic green screen fail.
