Ireland Baldwin Shares Her Unconventional Baby Shower Theme

Ireland Baldwin hosted an anything-but-ordinary baby shower this weekend!

The oldest daughter of Alec Baldwin and her boyfriend RAC kicked convention to the curb with a “baby’s first strip club” themed shower. For the festivities, Baldwin wore a Victoria’s Secret Ruched Lace Slip that showed off her bump and donned a pink wig. In photos shared on Monday and Tuesday, the writer can be seen posing in front of a themed cake, hanging out with dancers sporting fake baby bumps and cutting up with friends and family.

“Way too many of these to post, but it’ll have to come in parts. My friends and family threw us a very traditional baby shower as you can see,” Baldwin joked in her Instagram post. “I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was showered… in booty. Thank you to everyone at @jumbosclownroomofficial for making dreams come true and for being so kind. And thank you to everyone coming,” she added.

From the supportive to the shocked, friends and fans weighed in on the unique shower idea in the comments. “Wow, normally baby showers are such a bore, this one, and the other hand looks like the best baby shower ever!” commented one user. ‘You are going to be the coolest parents ever,” added a fan. “I might be too old to understand this… Congrats though,” noted another parent.

Baldwin, who has been dating recording artist RAC since 2021, initially confirmed her pregnancy news on Instagram with photos of her ultrasound and a positive pregnancy test. She also confirmed on the Girlboss Radio podcast earlier this year what she would be naming her baby girl. “We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent,” she chuckled. “And then I love the actress Holland Taylor. I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going with Holland.”
