Pregnancy is challenging enough, but preparing to welcome your first child while 52 million people follow your every move adds an extra layer of complexity.

Model, influencer, entrepreneur Hailey Bieber recently sat down with W Magazine to talk about the unique (hello, being the mother to Justin Bieber’s baby) and more relatable parts of her pregnancy.

“In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me,” Bieber told the outlet. "Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’ I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.” In those first few months, Bieber added that she dealt with the bane of many other moms-to-be’s existence: morning sickness. The Rhode founder emphasized how it really did strike at all times of the day, joking that we "need to change the name.”

Since her first trimester, though, Bieber has been feeling much better, something she credits to strength-training workouts and a high-protein diet consisting of “lots of eggs, chicken, and steak.” Mrs. Bieber isn’t all work and no play, though; she adds that oftentimes she "just listens to whatever the baby wants. If the baby wants pizza one day, we’re doing pizza.”

While Bieber has her physical health sorted at this point, at seven months pregnant, the mom-to-be says she continues to struggle with cyberchondria, or the repeated online exposure to health information that is associated with increased distress or anxiety. "You see so many stories—traumatic birth stories, traumatic experiences—and I know that that’s very real,” she said. “But I don’t want to scare myself.” Between TikTok warnings and dramatic Reels, it’s easy to see how Bieber, along with thousands of other moms-to-be, can get caught up in doom scrolling.

Despite these challenges, Hailey Bieber remains a trendsetter, sharing her best pregnancy hacks with her fans. From beauty to fashion her followers have always counted on her for the latest tips and tricks. Now, as she prepares to enter motherhood, she’s continuing to share valuable advice.

In a recent effort, after sweating through her summer pregnancy, Bieber posted her favorite way to cool off on her Instagram story. "If you’re pregnant in this heat …Trust me, feet + legs in the ice bath or cold plunge,” the soon-to-be mama wrote across a photo of her soaking her feet and ankles in a tub.

Whether you choose to soak inside or plan to take your ice bath plans outdoors with the help of a kiddie pool, this is one summer pregnancy hack that can’t be beat.

Hailey and Justin Bieber first announced they were expecting in May. The model and musician shared the news on Hailey’s Instagram, posting a dreamy, film-style video of their vow renewal in a field, with Hailey wearing a long, lacy dress with a veil and cradling her growing bump. Justin, true to form, is in a backwards baseball hat.

Celebrities and fans were quick to congratulate the happy couple in the comments. “eeeeekkkkkkk beyondddd excited for you two,” wrote model and mom of three Ashley Graham. “You are going to be an amazing amazing mommy oh boy get ready! So exciting so happy for you both,” added Chrissy Teigen. “We are so so excited can’t wait can’t wait what a blessing,” wrote Kris Jenner.

The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in September 2018 in a New York City courthouse, just two months after getting engaged, according to People. They later had a larger celebration with friends and family in South Carolina.

We can’t wait to meet baby Bieber!
