42 Small Business That Have Awesome Gifts for the Holiday Season
The holiday season is full swing! As you make your shopping lists for the 2020 holiday season, consider shopping small where you can. Small businesses make up around 44 percent of the country’s economy, and, due to the financial and social ramifications of the ongoing pandemic, it’s important to support them now more than ever.
This year has certainly shown a renewed interest in shopping small and local, and in keeping with the giving spirit, try to support the small businesses near and dear to your family and community this holiday season. Keep in mind, however, that shipping may take a little longer than usual. For the timely arrival of gifts, it’s better to shop sooner rather than later when shopping small.
So, what counts as a small business? Of course, we don’t have all the data on a business’ finances to specifically categorize them as small or not. However, at The Bump we categorize small businesses as ones that are locally run and operated (even if they exist within a larger marketplace) or ones may not yet be a household name.
Below, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite small businesses that offer products for pregnancy, kids and parents. Check them out—you may even find a new favorite.
