Q&A: Best Bottles?

I'm returning to work in a few weeks and will need to leave bottles of my breast milk for baby. Which bottles should I try?

Different bottles work best for different babies, so try a few before you invest in a stock of one type. The bottle nipple is really more important than the bottle itself. Baby sucks differently on a bottle nipple than on your breast. If he gets used to bottle feeding and starts trying to nurse the same way that he sucks on the bottle, your nipples can suffer. So try wide-based, short, round bottle nipples with a slow flow. This kind is believed by some to help prevent this “nipple confusion.”
