Paparazzi and celebrities go hand-in-hand. While most starlets are accustomed to this lifestyle, it’s not necessarily the life they want for their kids.

Hilary Duff shared a recent altercation with a paparazzo man who had been following her all day. In the video, you hear a distressed Duff plead with the man to leave her alone, pointing out she is nine months pregnant.

On top of waiting for baby’s arrival any day now, the actress also shares she has the flu. Run-down and exhausted from ducking the man for hours, she shares their heated interaction.

“This guy has been at my son’s soccer game this morning, then followed me to my sister’s house, and was basically parked in her driveway to get photos… This is not ok. I am nine months pregnant,” she stresses.

“I feel very uncomfortable, please leave a pregnant women alone,” Duff begs in the video.

Many have chimed in to share their thoughts, and the reactions are pretty split.

“When it comes to being a pregnant woman, it shouldn’t matter whether famous or not—the authorities should get involved. That’s stress that isn’t needed,” points out one user.

“She is having a baby and doesn’t want some creep to follow her when she’s sick and not feeling the best… She doesn’t want [him] around her son either,” says one fan.

“I agree with the whole ‘celebs sign up for this,’ except when it involves children. There should definitely be laws protecting children. They did not sign up for that,” writes another.

Others didn’t have quite the same reaction, voicing the flipside of the argument.

“Regardless it’s going to happen,” reads one comment. “That’s what people do to celebrities. I’m not saying its 100 percent right, but it’s a small price to pay to be worth millions.”

“Sorry, but it is a part of the job. That’s why they get paid so much—so they can hire body guards to protect them. Every career has its pros and cons. If the cons outweigh the pros, then find another career,” explains another.
