An Ohio woman’s stunning wedding look has been turning heads—and for more reasons than just her dress. Dalton, the bride, decided to babywear her daughter Ellie on her wedding day, and the pictures from the ceremony will take your breath away.

While Dalton married her now husband, Jimmy Joe, a while back, the photographer, Laura Schaefer of Fire and Gold Photography, decided to revisit their wedding day on Facebook. Needless to say, the photos instantly went viral.

“When I asked Dalton if she would be wearing a veil on her wedding day, she said ‘No, I’ll be wearing Ellie,’” Schaefer says in a blog post about the wedding.

Dalton wore Ellie down the aisle, and then nursed her to sleep during the readings. And, believe it or not, the young girl peacefully slept through the whole mass.

“Dalton held her in her arms, asleep, as Jimmy Joe and she said their vows to one another. It was picture perfect,” the photographer recounts.

If you have major mom envy over the gorgeous wrap the bride used, good news—you can get it for yourself. It’s the colorful Nouvelle Molly Baby Wrap from Oscha Slings.

Weddings are all about making your own traditions, and there are so many beautiful opportunities to capture your unique love story. If you’re a parent and looking for a special way to include your little one into your wedding day, take inspiration from Dalton or Jamie Riddell, a bride who spent the morning of her big day breastfeeding her son.
