Love Is Blind's Bliss and Zack Goytowski Welcome Their First Child

The beloved reality TV couple has announced the arrival of their daughter Galileo Terri Rayne. See the meaning behind her name here.

Love is Blind favorites Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowski and Zack Goytowski are officially parents!

The couple shared the exciting news of their daughter’s arrival on Instagram on May 10. “We hope you dance our beautiful baby girl. Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski born on a sunny April day in Seattle,” Bliss captioned a video of herself, Zack and baby Galileo in her nursery. In the background I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack plays, the first thing baby Galileo heard on her entrance to the world, according to Zack.

In the comments, Bliss explained the meaning behind her daughter’s unique name. “A powerful name for a powerful little lady: Galileo was not only one of the great brilliant minds of time but the name also represents the area where Jesus performed his miracles,” she wrote. “Terri is after @zackgoytowski ‘s beautiful angel mama who l know will always watch over our baby girl. Rayne means blessings and Queen. We call her Leo (Lay-o) for short.” Zack chimed in as well, adding, “My little professor, I can’t wait to see how you change the world. You’ve already changed mine.”

Love is Blind castmates and fans sent their congratulations to the new parents. “OH HAPPY DAY! Congratulations to you all. She is absolutely perfect! Uncle Kwame & Auntie Chelsea love you already Galileo,” wrote season six castmate Chelsea Blackwell. “The way this physically choked me up. You 2 were made for this. Sending well wishes to this beautiful little family,” added a fan.

Bliss and Zack first revealed they would be having a baby girl at a co-ed baby shower back in February. “It was a blast! I chose for the shower to be co-ed because it’s not just me having this baby, it’s Zack too!” Bliss told People..

“It was really important to me to include and honor Zack’s mom’s memory in our baby shower. Zack’s mom’s favorite color was green and she loved butterflies. So the theme of the shower was butterflies, green and a splash of pink,” noted Bliss, who wore a pink Anthropologie dress for the big day. “It turned out so beautiful, and I really felt her presence with us.”

The guest list included family, friends and, of course, castmates from where it all started. “Chelsea, Kwame, Brett, Tiffany, Marshall, Kacia, Amber and April were all able to make it to the shower and we were so incredibly happy to have them there,” Bliss shared. “It was so wonderful to have them there as they were there at the start of our journey in the pods together and we just feel so lucky that we’re able to celebrate this next big milestone with them.”

For the big surprise, the parents-to-be lined up several balloons, popping each alternating boy or girl until they reached the last balloon filled with pink confetti. “Well, it’s a girl! Daddy’s intuition was right. It’s a girl. We can now say she and her,” Bliss says in the video after the balloon popped. “She! Yeah, it feels pretty surreal that we can say she,” Zach added.

Bliss and Zack first announced their pregnancy in November 2023. “It’s a little bit nerve-wracking, but I think it’s also such a beautiful thing,” Bliss told PEOPLE in an exclusive announcement. “Babies are miracles and blessings, and I think we’ve been so open to sharing our journey and our relationship with the world, and this is our next big beautiful thing. I’m really happy and I hope that it brings joy to other people. It’s definitely brought us a ton of joy.”

Bliss learned of her pregnancy a few months ago, but the couple says the way she revealed the news didn’t exactly go to plan. “We planned this. We had actively been trying, but it was definitely a surprise,” Bliss shares. “I had felt a little queasy … and I took the test by myself because I wanted to surprise Zack whenever it was [confirmed]. I found out early in the morning while Zack was sleeping and it was shocking. It was like, does that really say positive? What is happening? It was definitely probably one of the most surreal moments of my life.”

“I was actually leaving for a trip and so I needed to tell Zack that day,” she continues. “I had wanted to do this big thing and make this big surprise out of it and buy all this stuff that said ‘Daddy’, but I didn’t have time to do all of that. So I bought a cake and I put ‘I Love You Dad’ on it. It was a really sweet moment and he was confused at first.”

Zack, however, remembers the moment a bit differently. As it turned out, the day Bliss found out the pregnancy news also fell on her mom’s birthday.

“She told me her mother sent us a cake for her birthday,” Zack recalls. “I believe that, right? That is actually something she would do … So Bliss is like, ‘Open up the cake,’ and I read it and it says, ‘I Love You, Dad.’ And I’m like, ‘What? Why is your mom calling me that?’” After getting past his initial confusion and putting the pieces together, Bliss says she and Zack shared “a really special moment.”

“There were tears that came to his eyes and it was a very happy moment,” she recalls as Zack adds, “I was incredibly happy. We both really wanted this and so we just felt really blessed that we were able to have this happen.”

“I am feeling really good and happy,” Bliss told People. “It’s definitely really crazy, surreal. Pregnancy is a wild journey of emotions and physical changes, but we’re excited for the end result.”
