The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Maclaren, has reannounced the November 2009 recall of Maclaren’s single and double umbrella strollers. The recall applies to all of the strollers sold prior to November 2009, as there have been 149 reported incidents involving fingertip amputation and laceration hazards to baby when the stroller is folding and unfolding. Note that strollers sold after May 2010 are not affected by the recall since they have a different hinge design.
