Khloé Kardashian Reveals Her Son's Name

Khloé Kardashian has finally revealed her baby boy’s name.

In the season two premiere of The Kardashians the Good American founder shared that she had chosen Tatum Robert for her son and opened up about her surrogacy journey.

The offical name reveal comes a little over 2 weeks after The US Sun caught wind of the name via an insider source.

Kardashian reportedly decided on the name after going back and forth on whether it would be Tatum Robert or Robert Tatum. “Some in the family were leaning more towards Robert because it honors her dad and her brother,” said the source.

“It took Khloe a little while to settle on the name, but ultimately she went with Tatum Robert, which is in keeping with Tristan and True’s names starting with a T.” Kardashian “wanted a name that was kind of unusual but not too out there.”

According to People, Kardashian and Thompson welcomed a baby boy via surrogate in late July/early August of last year.

“Khloé is on cloud nine. Getting a sibling for True has been such a journey. She is very excited to be a mom again,” a source close to Kardashian told People.

Kardashian’s initial pregnancy announcement in mid-July came as a shock to fans as Kardashian had previously ended her relationship with Thompson in January after another report of infidelity surfaced. Sources would later confirm that Thompson had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols in December. Since the news broke, many sources have confirmed that the child was conceived in November before Kardashian had any knowledge of the affair.

Despite their rocky relationship, Kardashian and Thompson continue to co-parent their daughter True, 4, and Kardashian had previously expressed her wish to see True as a big sister.

The decision to pursue surrogacy was made after doctors shared with Kardashian that she would likely be unable to carry a baby herself again. “I’m not gonna get into specifics on-camera," Kardashian said in a KUWTK episode, “but they said it’s like an 80-something percent chance that I will miscarry. I almost miscarried with True at the beginning. But I didn’t know that was like a lingering thing.”

“This is all really shocking to me,” Kardashian added. “All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family, and I just seem to be running into more and more roadblocks. It’s really hard for me to digest.”

Now mom to a healthy baby boy Kardashian looks forward to co-parenting another child with Thompson. “Just like they do with True, Khloé will co-parent the baby with Tristan,” a source told People. “Tristan is the dad and Khloé wants him involved as much as possible. He is great with True.”
