Multiple configurations, matching diaper bags, a one-handed fold; these features are no longer exclusive to the crème de la crème of strollers. But there’s one trending point of differentiation that seems to be a new hallmark of luxury strollers: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing leather (or leatherette) trim.

It first caught our eye on the new Rachel Zoe collection for Quinny and Maxi Cosi. Both the stroller and car seats feature rich cognac leather on the handles.

But as we continued around the ABC Kids Expo, we spotted it again and again.

Take newcomer Austlen Baby Co., for example. Making its debut at ABC, the Entourage stroller features a leatherette-wrapped child arm bar and a matching handle for mom or dad. Starting at $850, the Entourage will be available in stores in February. You’ll definitely want to keep your eye on this one; like the Hummer of strollers, it expands accordion-style for more storage or an additional seat. Plus, it holds up to 150 lbs.

Like the Entourage, the Mutsy Evo and Igo strollers feature a leatherette handle and arm bar on some of their models. But the price points are a bit lower: $449 and $579, respectively.

And for a stroller completely decked out in leather trim, there’s the iCoo Acrobat (from $599). Not only are the handlebars made out of actual leather; the interior seat pad and head cushion are too.
