Husband Narrates His Wife's Home Birth as the Crocodile Hunter and Her Reaction Is Priceless

Emotions run high in the moments before baby’s birth. Moms do their best to stay calm, and their partners become their cheerleaders to get them through the incredible craziness that is childbirth.

One husband used it as an opportunity to narrate the cherished moment in the voice of the Crocodile Hunter. And yes, his wife’s reaction is just as hilarious as you would expect.

The clip was shared by the couple’s midwife, Lindsey Meehleis, who captured the hysterical instance on camera. “When your clients almost make you pee your pants at their birth,” she shares.

In the video, the pregnant woman paces back and forth, while her husband acts like the Crocodile Hunter on a dangerous expedition. “She spotted us,” he exclaims at one point.

To her credit, the mom does a wonderful job of staying calm, barely acknowledging her partner’s silly antics. Except for every now and then when she throws him a cautionary death stare.

While his wife is mid-contraction, the man takes a hint and cuts the film so they can get down to business. Shortly after, the couple welcomed a healthy baby girl and will likely share her funny birth story with her for many years to come.

The internet is obsessed with the video, and have left countless messages on the midwife’s Instagram.

“This is a very brave man. Hilarious and what a clever way to keep the mood light and oxytocin flowing. Just awesome,” says one.

“This husband is hilarious and this mama has the patience of a saint,” praises another.

“Oh my word, she is a good sport! You don’t even want to know what I would’ve done if somebody was doing that to me” a mom admits.
