See the Breathtaking Photos From a Photographer Who Captured Her Own Baby's Birth

Megan Mattiuzzo is used to capturing special moments in other’s lives. As a professional photographer and owner of Megan Ann Photography, she specializes in fashion and wedding photo shoots. But when she learned about her pregnancy, she made a promise to herself to be the one to document her own baby coming into the world.

Nine months later, she managed to stay true to her word.

“Since I got pregnant, I knew I wanted just one photo…of his first breath,” she shares on Facebook. “I wasn’t sure I would be able to actually pull this off because of my epidural not fully working. My pain level at the end was over my limit.”

Once doctors informed her the next push would be the one, her husband passed her camera to her and she managed to simultaneously give birth to her son while capturing it all on camera from her perspective.
