For years, new, expectant and hopeful parents have gathered in The Bump’s community forum to ask questions, offer tips, share perspectives and support one another in navigating some of life’s most important moments. That sense of connection and community is at the heart of The Bump and will never fade—but the time has come to close the doors of our forum groups and discussion boards.

The Bump forum will become read-only on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, which means community members will be able to scroll through discussion boards and conversation threads but will no longer be able to post messages. The forum will officially go offline on Tuesday, December 1, 2026.

When The Bump first started the forum, our goal was to create a safe place for parents to connect with other parents going through similar experiences. Over the years, it’s more than exceeded our hopes. The Bump team has watched meaningful friendships form as members supported one another during hard times, and been genuinely moved by the humor, generosity and kindness that is shared daily.

What to Do Before the Forum Closes

We want to make sure everyone has a chance to maintain friendships, say goodbye and prepare.
