Best of Baby Winner for Top High Chair
Introducing solids into baby’s diet is a big step—and having a top-notch high chair can help make the process a little less stressful. Forget the frustration of assembling, cleaning and adjusting baby’s high chair; the brand-new Minla is thoughtfully designed and beyond easy to use. It has everything you’d need or want in a high chair: A height-adjustable seat (that also happens to recline); a wipe-down, machine-washable cover with a five-point harness; a big, removable tray (that’s dishwasher-friendly and stores on the back of the chair); a frame with wheels that also folds to store; and, perhaps best of all, a value-packed design that grows with your child from infancy to toddlerhood and beyond.
• This was one of the easiest high chairs we’ve ever had the pleasure (yes, the pleasure) of assembling right out of the box, no screws or tools necessary
• Thanks to its convertible, multiuse design, you get a ton of bang for your buck: The chair can be used for an infant (thanks to the full-recline seat and newborn insert), as a traditional high chair with or without the tray, as a separate booster seat and even as a toddler stool
• The seat comes with a padded cover for ultimate comfort, but there are no deep crevices for crumbs to get stuck in; you can give it a quick wipe-down with a wet sponge, thanks to its special coating, or zip it off and toss it in the wash
• Ease-of-use was top of mind for Maxi-Cosi designers: Whether you’re adjusting the seat height (there are nine options), recline (there are five) or tray position (there are four), removing the tray or swapping out the seat, all you need to do is push a button
• Storage was another big consideration here: Not only can you move the chair from room to room thanks to the (lockable) caster wheels, but the whole thing folds flat to slip under the table or couch—a nice feature, given that this high chair does have a large footprint; plus, whenever you’re not using the sizeable tray, simply clip it onto the back of the chair (so clever!)
