America Ferrera and Husband Welcome Baby Girl
America Ferrera has welcomed baby no. 2!
The “Superstore” actress announced yesterday, May 10, on Mother’s Day, that she and husband Ryan Piers Williams had welcomed their daughter on May 4.
“LUCIA MARISOL WILLIAMS arrived on May 4th to give me my Mother’s Day hugs and kisses herself. Mama, Dada & Big Brother are over the moon to welcome her bright light to our family,” Ferrera posted to Instagram, along with a sweet photo of her holding her newborn’s tiny hand.
Her husband also took to social media to write his own message for his baby girl. “The most exquisite little creature graced us with her presence on May 4, 2020,” he wrote. “Please meet the newest member of our family, Lucia Marisol Williams. She came just in time for Mother’s Day. Everyone is healthy and happy!”
Several people sent notes of congratulations to the couple, including actress Reese Witherspoon, who wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day, my friend.” Actress Mindy Kaling also commented, “And yes I will donate now! Love to little Lucia!”
This is the second child for Ferrera and William, who also share a son, Sebastian, born in May 2018. While the couple had to cancel Ferrera’s baby shower due to COVID-19, in lieu of it, they are asking people to donate to the Yes We Can World foundation, which works to provide essential supplies for migrant children and mothers at the US-Mexico border.
