Kristen Wiig and Fiancé Avi Rothman Have Welcomed Twins

Kristen Wiig is a mom!

She and fiancé Avi Rothman welcomed twins, via a surrogate, earlier this year, Us Weekly reports.

Wiig may have been hinting at her new phase of life in motherhood while hosting Saturday Night Live last month. During the show’s “Mother’s Day At Home” episode, she thanked her mom, Laurie Johnston.

“This is the Mother’s Day show, and at SNL, it’s a very special time to celebrate moms,” Wiig said. “Unfortunately, probably like a lot of you, I can’t be with my mom on this Mother’s Day. So I hope it’s OK, I would like to tell her I love her,” Wiig said. , “I don’t know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life. But this year I’m feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love. I’m so thankful for all the things she’s taught me, like preparing to be a mom myself. Things like breastfeeding. Babies love that chicken, she would always say that.”

Wiig and Rothman, 42, became engaged in August 2019 after dating for three years. They were first linked together back in 2016 after reportedly being spotted together on a trip to Hawaii.
