One thing most couples look forward to doing before welcoming baby is embarking on a babymoon. A babymoon is a getaway for the parents-to-be. It allows them to make memories and enjoy some quality time together before welcoming a new addition to their family.

A babymoon can look different for every couple depending on their personal preferences—some couples opt to plan a trip that may have been on their bucket list, while others plan a staycation closer to home. After over a year of lockdown, as travel is starting to pick up, a new report from Next Vacay is revealing that searches for babymoons are up by 233 percent.

To compile the report, Next Vacay analyzed Google search data to find the most in-demand destinations. They compared the recent search volume to past data and calculated the percentage increase in demand. They found that Maui was the most popular babymoon destination overall, with a 600 percent increase in demand. Below, their findings for the top 20 most in-demand babymoon destinations.
