Adam Driver and Wife Joanne Tucker Welcome Second Child

Adam Driver and his wife Joanne Tucker have welcomed their second child.

The House of Gucci actor seemingly confirmed his daughter’s arrival during dress rehearsal leading up to his appearance on Saturday Night Live. “Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting,” the star reportedly said while practicing his opening monologue. “So this year, I wish for Ambien!”

Notoriously private about his family life, Page Six first shared that the Girls actress and the Marriage Story actor might be expecting after they were spotted on the street during a grocery store run on Sunday. In the photos, Tucker is pictured wearing a gray sweatshirt that hugged her growing belly bump.

The star-studded couple, who married in 2013, are already mom and dad to a young son they welcomed in 2016. Driver and Tucker have not confirmed their son’s name or shared photos of their baby boy. They have had little to say about their son since his birth in a conscious effort to keep him out of the spotlight.

Driver previously addressed his dad status in his opening monologue during his Saturday Night Live hosting appearance in 2020, telling the crowd, “I’m a husband. And a father. It’s in that order though. I’ve been very clear with my son about that, he’s second in everything.”
