Billie Lourd and Austen Rydell Welcome Second Child

American Horror Story actress Billie Lourd and her husband Austen Rydell have officially welcomed their second child.

Lourd’s father, Bryan, shared the news Tuesday while speaking at Variety’s Dealmakers Breakfast. “My daughter had a baby last night. I left the hospital at 1:30 and got there this morning at 6. I’m a little tired, but happy,” Bryan said.

Lourd has yet to confirm her father’s statement or any details about her newborn. The daughter of late actress Carrie Fischer, Lourd first announced her pregnancy in September at the London premiere of Ticket to Paradise. The star posed in a pink sequin dress with tulle sleeves that accentuated her baby bump.

Later at the Los Angles premiere of the film, Lourd joked about shooting the film while in her third trimester and her kid’s future work ethic. "If they ever say they don’t want to do their homework, I’m going to be like, ‘Watch this movie. I was 9,000 years pregnant with you. You better have a good work ethic,’ " she told People. “If that doesn’t give you a good work ethic, I don’t know what will.”

Lourd and Rydell are already parents to 2-year-old son Kingston Fisher. The Booksmart actress kept her pregnancy a secret until she surprised fans in September 2020 with a photo of baby Kingston’s feet.
