Glee Alum Darren Criss and Wife Mia Welcome Baby No. 2

Darren Criss’ daughter has a new Brother in more ways than one!

The Glee alum shared on June 6 that he and his wife Mia Swier had welcomed another little one into the family. “M & D just delivered their follow-up single. Brother László Criss. 6/3/24. Out now,” Criss captioned a photo of his newborn son decked out in a Star Wars R2-D2 blanket and huge sunglasses.

To clear up any confusion, Criss clarified that his son’s first name was indeed Brother at the end of the caption. The name falls in line with the family’s penchant for unique names. The couple are already parents to a daughter, Bluesy Bell, who they welcomed in April 2022.

The American Crime Story actor and People editor first shared they were expecting in December 2023. “And COMING SOON…let’s hope the sequel is better than the photoshop,” Criss captioned a photoshopped image of the Mamma Mia! Movie poster with his family’s faces. In front of the image, Mia held two positive pregnancy tests.

“Ur hilarious. CONGRATULATIONS,” mom-to-be Vanessa Hudgens wrote in the comments. “WOWWWW IT TRULY IS CRISSMAS CONGRATS,” added Augie Bell. Stars from Lance Bass to Maude Apatow also sent their congratulations to the growing family.

Criss and Swier first met through mutual friends in 2006 and began dating in 2010 shortly before Crisss’ debut on Glee. After 10 years of being each other’s “ultimate plus-ones” according to Criss, the two tied the knot in February 2019.
