Jana Kramer and Allan Russell Welcome First Baby Together
Jana Kramer has welcomed another little boy to her family!
The country singer announced the arrival of her first baby with fiancé Allan Russell on November 15. “Welcome to the world sweet Roman James Russell. Blessed beyond measure for this little miracle. 11.13.2023. 6lbs 1oz.,” the New York Times bestselling author wrote in an Instagram post.
Friends, fans and fellow celebrities like Tori Spelling and Mario Lopez were quick to send their congratulations to the happy couple in the comments. “So so proud of the parents and people yall are. what a rockstar team to witness. Now, hand me my son-in-law,” joked podcast host Kristen Brust. “Perfection!! Congrats mom and dad and proud big sister + big brother! Their faces say it all,” added former Good Morning America anchor Paula Faris.
Kramer and Russell reflected on their baby boy’s name in an interview with People. “The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our Grandpa’s names, so that was a nod to them," they said. “We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together."
The former One Tree Hill star is already mom to son Jace, 4, and daughter Jolie, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Caussin. In the carousel of photos Kramer shared the two old siblings can be seen fawning over their new little brother.
After the launch of her book The Next Chapter and moving out of their house, Kramer and Rusell first announced their pregnancy in June. “We’ve been keeping another secret from you guys (I promise this is the last Announcement…at least for a little while 🤣) but I’m pregnant!!! Beyond blessed and grateful for this baby to be a part of our story. I never thought I would see the word pregnant again on a test, but thankful for @clearblue for making it as clear as ever,” Kramer shared.
Congratulations to the new family of five!
