Mike 'the Situation' Sorrentino and His Wife Lauren Welcome Baby No. 3

Mike “The Situation” and Lauren Sorrentino have their hands full!

The Jersey Shore star and his wife Lauren shared the arrival of thier third child on Instagram on March 7. “Gym Tan Situation Family of 5! We are overjoyed to announce the newest member of our growing Italian family,” Sorrentino captioned the photo of himself, Lauren and their newborn. “Luna Lucia Sorrentino, born March 6th 2024 at 3:49pm weighing in at 5 pounds 6 ounces and 18.25 inches in length. 3 under 3 will be quite the situation but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The Sorrentinos revealed they were adding another baby girl to the family on November 14. “SO EXCITED WE’RE HAVING A LITTLE GIRL! MARCH 2024,” Sorrentino captioned a photo of the whole family posed in front of a street art painting of the Italian flag.

The couple first announced they were expecting a third child on September 26. “Good things come in threes. Adding another pumpkin to our patch 🙏🏼 Baby #3 coming March 2024,” the couple captioned a photo of their soon-to-be family of five.

“Three under three. here we go,” Lauren added in the comments. “Wow!!! Those kiddos will be best friends for life being so close in age,” added a fan. Mike’s Jersey Shore castmates also left their congratulations, “Hat Trick 3,” wrote Pauly D, “Anotha One,” added Vinny. “Welcome to the three club,” Snooki, a mom of three herself, said.

The Sorrentinos announcement came less than a year after the couple welcomed Mia Bella on January 24, 2023. The podcast host posted a carousel of images in celebration of his daughter’s birth to Instagram on January 25, including a photo of himself holding his newborn, one with his wife and baby and two sweet photos of his baby swaddled and sleeping tight.

“We got an amazing Situation,” Sorrentino wrote in the caption. “We are beyond overjoyed to welcome our little girl into this world to join our growing family of 4.”

The couple also revealed their daughter’s name to be Mia Bella Elizabeth Sorrentino, weighing in at 5 pounds 15 ounces and measuring 18 inches at birth. Mia’s middle name Bella is Latin for “Beautiful.”

The Sorrentinos initially shared they were expecting on June 31, via Instagram. In the image, Sorrentino and his wife Lauren posed in front of their backyard pool with their 14-month-old Romeo Reign. Sorrentino captioned the post, “We have an amazing announcement!! We’re a growing family! Baby on the way, January 2023. God is Good.” Lauren later posted an image of the pair in front of a beachy background captioned, “Four months [pregnant]. Family of four coming January 2023.”

Congratulations came flooding in the comments from fans and alumni from Jersey Shore. Paul DelVecchio Jr., also known as “DJ Pauly D,” commented, “So so so happy for you guys!” and Jennifer “JWOW” Farley added an emphatic “Yaaass!”

The proud parents recently celebrated their son Romeo’s first birthday in May. Lauren shared an adorable photo from her son’s nontraditional “cake smash” photoshoot captioned, “I love you more than you love pasta. Happy 1st Birthday Romeo Reign. Spaghetti smash for the win.”

Sorrentino and Lauren met in community college math class and were married in November 2018. Since then, the couple has weathered many ups and downs, including Sorrentino’s journey to sobriety.
