Comedian Whitney Cummings Welcomes Her First Baby

Whitney Cummings has plenty of laughs to come with the addition of her first child!

The Mouthy comedian shared the news on Instagram on December 17. “3-D printed a human. Enjoy me never having brushed hair again,” she joked in the caption of a photo featuring her cradling her baby boy.

Friends, fans and fellow comedians rushed to the comments to send their congratulations. “Congrats, Whitney!! Have lots of tips, if ya need any,” wrote actress Hilary Swank. “Ahhhhhh so happy for you,” added reality TV star and podcaster Stassi Schroeder. Comedians Celeste Barber, Bobby Lee and Mark Normand all chimed in the comments as well.

The 41-year-old revealed the sex of her child just a week after announcing her pregnancy. In a similar style to her birth announcement, she did so with a joke or two. “My favorite pic of my baby’s face so far. This just in: it’s a BOY. Help me name this monster. Rusty? Dusty? Bill?” she captioned a photo of her sonogram.

Cummings first announced that she was expecting on June 20. “In these pix I am with child. And there’s a baby in me, too. Human pup coming December. All tour dates in 2023 still happening I just may fall over a couple of times,” she wrote.

Appearing on Today earlier this year, Cummings mentioned that she was trying to get pregnant using eggs she froze at 32. “Okay so look. But I did freeze my eggs,” Cummings said. "They have a beautiful beachfront in Redondo, California. They’re on better real estate than me. I do want to get them out before the sea level rises and they flood, but I was going to try this year to get pregnant.”
