Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler Welcome Baby Girl Lucy Lu

While on stage at the Stars For Second Harvest charity concert in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 7, country star Sam Hunt announced that he and wife Hannah Lee Fowler welcomed their new baby girl Lucy Lu Hunt in May.

“I recently had a baby girl named Lucy Lu,” the four-time Grammy-nominated artist told fans while strumming his guitar. In between cheers, he continued saying, “I think being out here—and in the music business and being out on the road—has sort of hardened my heart. My heart’s definitely a lot harder in a lot of ways since I left that small town. It’s amazing how that little girl melted that all away overnight a couple of weeks ago.”

The announcement came just 30 days after the couple called off their divorce proceedings. Fowler, a registered nurse, had filed for divorce in February, citing inappropriate marital conduct and adultery.

“Hannah is very shy and really didn’t want to create a life in Nashville or in the public eye,” a source told US Weekly in February. “She always was conflicted with this public life.”

Very private about her personal life, Fowler doesn’t have any social media accounts and hasn’t publicly announced her pregnancy or birth. No photos of baby Lucy Lu have been released yet.

Hunt and Fowler met in 2008 when the country singer was a quarterback for the University of Alabama, Birmingham. After an on-again-off-again relationship, the couple married in April 2017. When asked about their reconciliation in May, a source said, “Sam is working on rebuilding his relationship with Hannah,” adding that the then-expectant parents were “both very focused on the baby’s arrival.”
