Lindsay Lohan Shows Off Her Serene Ocean-Inspired Nursery
Lindsay Lohan has a knack for identifying the next “it” thing. After all, the Mean Girls star convinced us all to wear pink on Wednesdays, got us to embrace our girl band era with Freaky Friday and inspired countless elaborate friendship handshakes that Hallie and Annie would surely be proud of. So naturally, when it came time to reveal her nursery, we couldn’t wait to jump on what’s surely to be the hottest new craze.
Officially in her “cool mom” era, Lohan debuted her nursery and her own collection with Nestig Baby on Instagram on July 14. “So excited to show you my nursery and the collection I designed with @nestigbaby! Everything is inspired by the beach and is so peaceful and playful,” she wrote, adding that “everything is handmade and perfect for any little one in your life!”
The star of the show, the massive Morning Light Wall Mural, featuring a whimsical, watercolor beach scene. Printed on non-toxic, traditional wallpaper with Greenguard Gold certified inks, 10 ft tall and 12.8 ft wide mural is quite the statement maker that can see your child beyond those first few months and through their toddler years.
Lohan notes that she “wanted everything to be calming, but also playful, really tapping into childlike wonder.” Other highlights from the room include an Avaitor Mobile, handcrafted and hand-assembled by artisans in Brazil from wood, felt and locally sourced wool, the minimalistic Cloud Crib in Natural Wood and the machine-washable Breeze Rug, made with organic cotton.
A fan-favorite from the collection, the Seabound Shelf, take an ordinary storage solution and turns it into a decorative element. Featuring a toy bin base with three sail-shaped shelves, there’s space for items you’re proud to showoff and ones you’d like to stow away.
Lohan initially broke the big news on March 14 that she and her husband, Bader Shammas, were expecting. “We are blessed and excited,” Lohan captioned a Instagram photo of a white onesie with the words “Coming Soon” written on it. The couple welcomed a baby boy in July 2023.
The actress kept most of her pregnancy journey private but has shared a few snaps from her baby shower and, most recently, her lounging poolside ahead of the long Memorial Day Weekend.
