Pregnancy Checkups With Multiples?
Will my checkups be different from my friends' who are carrying only one baby?
In the beginning, there probably won’t be too much difference between your pregnancy and those of ordinary folks who have only one passenger along for the ride. You will have more ultrasounds, though (see below for an exact rundown of how much more often). And as your belly (and everything else) gets bigger, your doctor may start to do some fetal monitoring around the 30-week mark. Don’t stress—it’s just another way for her to make sure everyone’s getting all the nutrition
they need.
